Minimum wage for house personnel is raised by 1.8%

These household employees are not protected by union or industry agreements: the Swiss government decides their minimum wages.

From 1.1.2014 the minimum wage for workers employed in the household will be,

Unqualified personnel: CHF 18,55 per hour. Qualified / experienced personnel: CHF 22,40 per hour.

Employees also need to pay for: the AHV-AVS pension, Taxes, accident insurance. (All depend on hours worked per week)
