Backcountry Cross Country Skiing

I have some backcountry cross country skis (like classic cross country skis but a bit wider and with metal edges to go off track) and need to buy binding and boots, preferably near St. Gallen where I live. Any suggestions?

Also, are there any websites/books/resources that could be recommended about trails of this type around Eastern Switzerland?
