Well, it seems Media Markt have really dropped the prices of some of their Wireless 802.11ac routers.
I just picked up a Netgear 6300v2 (new revision model, with USB 3.0) for 130chf, and the cheapest price on Digitec is 150chf, and that's for the v1 model with no USB 3.0 and no Beamforming technology. Hell, Media Marklt online even quotes 150chf http://shop.mediamarkt.ch/de/compute...0/idpwjrqzdsz9
Also there is a TP-LINK Archer C7 router (USB 2.0 only) for 99chf... but imo it's well worth the 30chf extra for the Netgear 6300 as it's incredibly fast and the software is great.

I just plugged it in and got a 50% speed increase over my old Belkin N600 (supposedly running at the exact same speeds) and the signal strength is rock solid.
Sure, there are some minor speed bumps on the horizon as far as wireless 802.11ac is concerned, but they are very minor and will cost 200chf+.
No idea why Media Markt are selling the Netgear 6300v2 at such a lower price in-store than everyone else. UK price is between 120-150GBP.
If anyone is looking for a new fast router, I really recommend it... but you'll need to go in-store and physically check it's the v2 version (will say v2 and USB3.0 on the box).
