I've lived in Oerlikon for about 18 months now and at least 6-7 times, teenage boys (varying between the ages of 12 to 20) have made a remark, or cat-called me while going for runs around the neighborhood.
I've lived in the cities and suburbs of NYC, Boston, and Saint Louis and have never had this issue before. It's not that I'm running in a hot pink sequined bikini with a monkey on my back either- can't a girl just go for a run in peace in her own neighborhood?
Note, I don't speak/understand a lick of Swiss German, so I'm not really sure what these boys are saying, but someone should teach them some manners, or give them something better to do while they wait for their you know what to drop!
