Saw this bike in the blick and it ignited the inner-nerd so I've looked it up. I thought I'd seen some weird bikes in Zurich but this is insane.
For all those Frietag bag owning, Bally trainers wearing, Mammut soft-shell clad fitness freaks, who like to be seen as environmentally friendly and expensively equipped in an student-like neo-ironic way, and yet individual in a conformist way... this is the ultimate nerd-bike just for you.
Those clever chaps, and yes they are all chaps, at ETH have invented a hybrid energy drink & baked-bean propelled bicycle that also allows you to conduct rectal examinations on your way to hang out at other trendy concept bicycle shops. In any other city this would be a bit weird, but in Zurich its competing against all manner of nerd bike makers for attention and may not get the baked beans it deserves.
