From diligent stalking of this forum I have learned that some of you live in Baden or somewhere nearby in Aargau. How nice, when I myself live around there as well (Okay, rather closer to Brugg, but I suppose Baden is a better compromise, being larger and all.)
I have visited the German conversation group in Zurich a couple of times, and a very helpful gentleman there once observed that I need to go out more. Which would be made much easier if there was something social going on a little closer to home.
So here's my suggestion / question: Would anyone be interested in a drink or two some evening somewhere in Baden? Something after-workish on some day that's not a busy drinking day, say, some Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday? Say, at the Pickwick Pub?
If anyone's interested and actually expresses this interest in a way that I can recognise it, I will be happy to formally announce the chosen date and maybe even call the chosen pub and ask for a possibility to reserve a modest corner from a modest table somewhere that's not the kitchen.
Disclaimer: I did try to post this under Social events, but I guess I'm too much of a newbie to have the rights to start new threads in that section. Sorry for the spam; if someone with Authority feels particularly enterprising, they can surely move this thread to wherever it belongs. Preferably not the trash bin, but clearly I'm at your mercy.
