Commuting from Bernex to Geneva

Hi, I am going to be interning in Geneva this summer and am looking at possibly renting out a room in Bernex. However, I am a bit puzzled on best public transportation into Geneva from Bernex. Anyone else commute from this area into Geneva? How long is the commute generally? Would I have to take a train or a bus into Geneva?
