New to the forum/Swiss lifestyle

Hello everyone,

I am a 23 old male from Portugal currently looking for a new life experience for the upcoming months.
I am glad that i found this forum and decided to register a few days ago, i have read a lot of interesting information regarding Switzerland and i'm really thankful for that.

I made a pause on my studies until September/October and thought of visiting some family i have that lives near Zurich. Meanwhile i would be looking to embrace swiss culture and learn a new language.

One of the "best"ways i can think of would be to become a living in aupair and extend my stay until September/October while visiting my family when i could instead of being a tourist(3 months tops), but the doors seem to be very narrow for someone with close to no experience regarding this type of job.

Anyway, i would love to receive some feedback regarding activities that i could do and the best ways to immerse into a different culture (on a short budget:)) while looking for a temporary job.
