a certificate of non-criminal rec.

Good morning.

I have 2 interesting questions regarding to (at the end of my post is a short description):

- Certificate of non-criminal record of my wife
- Certificate of the birth of my wife

Before my wife will go to Swizterland:

1) Should my wife show you a certificate of non-criminal from Poland (made in Poland) or from Russia ? Do you need an apostille convertion of this certificate? How many days this certificate is valid in Switzerland (I would like to know what date should be on this certificate) ?

2) Do you need an apostille convertion of her birth certificate? Or an authorized translation of her birth certificate is enough for you?

(the short repeat of my situation:
- I ve been working and living in Switzerland from 30.11.2013.
- I am EU citizen (Polish citizenship)
- I have the L-Permit
- My wife has Russian citizenship but she has been living in Poland from May 2011.
- She has the valid Polish permit-card).
