Vollmacht mit Substitutionsrecht???

Hi,

my tax return is handled by my employer (yeah, I know, lucky me).

I have been asked to sign for the tax adviser to have "Vollmacht mit Substitonsrecht"

I understand the words (power of attorney with right of substitution), but I don't understand the meaning of "with right of substitution" :confused:

Any ideas? Thanks!
