Hello EF member... I am looking Infos about Apprentices...
Hopefully this time, I have many respond from my post :)
Hopefully this time, I have many respond from my post :)
- Im non EU citizen with Germany residency permit (German husband),
- I have no work and/or living permit whatsoever in Switzerland.
- I have almost 7 years working experience as Project Controller with various international companies back in my home country.
- Im targeting Dual Studium in a German HochSchule
Not only because the location of HochSchule is close to where I live (Lörrach), but also I need to keep my income in minimum, in order to fulfill the requirement for my resident visa.
- I want to take Bachelor degree in Business Management
I had diploma in Business studies, but I think I have to repeat the whole major because its tough to get diploma from my country to be recognized by German - The major I choose 100% conducted with English language.
Although I think I have enough based for German language, I do not feel comfortable to enroll into full 'German' Major.
- I need to find company that sponsor me in.
Maybe some of you know that dual studium required the student already hired as Apprentices by sponsoring companies (for three years/as the period of studies). - The major which I plan to take is freshly two years old for the University, so student encouraged to find their own companies to sponsor them.
All other major already have 'Regular' sponsoring companies. - As the chances are much bigger to find companies in the big cities, my appointed cities should be Basel.
As it is nearest big city where I live.
But I know, not only to persuade companies is going to be a huge challenge, i have to convince those companies to deal with my visa statuses.
For these cases, I need to collects heaps of infos...And I hope you can help me.
- If a company decide to take me, what would Switzerland visa regulation applied to my case?
- And how difficult for the company to sponsor visa for foreign (alien) with my condition?
- How is the chances companies in Basel to sponsor foreign Apprentices?
- Anyone have experience as expat/foreign apprentices for companies in Switzerland?
- I never experienced being Apprentices before, i have collects infos about it from Internet, but if you have more infos about it,
e.g
- how to write SUPER application letter for Apprentices position,
- list of companies (basel) would (regularly) take apprentices,
- how much apprentices paid
- tips trick to convince companies taking you as apprentices..
- etc..
Waiting for your post reply :o
