Eating out as a vegan is always a little hit or miss. Sure, many restaurants claim they can "do vegan", but a lump of over broiled tofu with soya sauce (which may not really be vegan) isn't really something we should put up with.
This restaurant in Rapperswil almost needs a fanfare, because it really is that good. Located in the central pedestrian zone in the heart of Rappi, the previous "Falkenburg" has been transformed into a truly excellent place to eat. And eat well. What's most encouraging is really the whole menu which doesn't seek to replicate non-vegan dishes with an approximation, rather the choice of vegetable and nut based cuisine is really original, beautifully served and the whole concept presented with a style that doesn't pretend to be Hiltl.
There are at least 10 choices of different salads, over 20 main courses and even those needing a sweet kick will find their taste buds satisfied. Expect to pay around CHF 40-50 per person for a three course (not including drinks).

And no, this is not a paid for commercial.
