Right, I need the combined wisdom of this forum to help me out!
I am a property owner in CH, but not a resident. I have a UK car which has been in Switzerland since May last year and I now want to import it into Switzerland. The car is in the Vaudois pré-Alpes. I will be in Switzerland for two working days only in mid to late May.
What is the most expeditious way to try and go through the steps to get it imported during this short period? (I already have a UK export certificate.) If I screw up and can't do it in the two days then I will have a lot of hassle as the UK insurance expires at the end of May and I won't be back until July.
Any advice gratefully received.
