Finding temporary accomodation in Basel

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can look for temporary accommodation in Basel? We're arriving from the US in mid-June and will need somewhere temporary until we can find a rental. It seems that finding a permanent rental from abroad isn't possible: the one landlord I contacted via e-mail ignored me once she heard that we hadn't arrived yet.
