Can anyone recommend a wireless router for use with Cablecom?
I have no end of problems with my current one, with poor performance all of the time and it dropping internet connectivity every 24 hours or so. Perhaps when it drops it is getting its knickers in a twist talking to the modem, or maybe just getting its knickers in an internal twist, I don't know, but regardless, the performance of 15Mb/s instead of the 50 I pay for is unacceptable (going direct via ethernet cable from computer-modem sorts out the performance, and resetting the router sorts out the connection problem until the next time, so I can exclude the computer's wireless adaptor for at least one of the problems).
For what it's worth I have a Ubee evm3230 modem at the one end, and most commonly a Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n wifi adaptor on the other.
