Taking a coop trolly home?

My family is coming in a couple of weeks and I have got a nice 20% discount coupon so this means lots of shopping is needed :D since I don't have a car and I live like 600m away I was thinking to ask the cashier nicely if I can roll the trolly to home, drop my stuff, and take it back.

Did anybody do this before or is it unheared of? Dont want to do mutiple trips in order to be able to apply the discount to my whole order.
