Heidegg Castle was the country seat of the Lucerne patricians with castle and gardens, vineyards and gastronomic kitchen. Today, it is the historical and cultural center of the Seetals. Visitors can experience history, celebrating parties, enjoy concerts and events, walks in the park and gardens, stroll around and relax and organize seminars in historic premises.
Of special interest for families is the children's activities which include: the Kinderestrich, Ankleide and Spielplatz.
The Kinderestrich was converted from the top floor of the castle tower. Today the centerpiece is the dream castle with ball track. Developed by Herbert Bättig, a unique play area for children consists of three elliptical planes, a labyrinthine creeper and a mysterious glowing, sophisticated ball track. Children can do many things in this dream castle itself and discover somethings new, exploring transitions and passages that carry the balls up and create sounds move walls on the way down. If that is not enough, then there is still the ball track, the pillow fight and the soft blocks... and that's just what is indoors...
