Recent Graduate from Non EU country, Internship VISA and Work Permit

Hello everyone,

I am a recent graduate (MS) from a non EU country. I applied for an internship in Switzerland recently. I was told, by my contact there, that arranging VISA and Work permit would be a problem as :
"In Switzerland, the authorities give a visa for internship only if you can prove that you can go back to your course after the internship".

But clearly i can't, as i already graduated.
Is it really the case? If Yes, is there a way around it?

I would appreciate every advice and recommendation.
