I looked on the BVB website and it tells me that the GA is valid on all of its buses and trams but it does not specify if this includes cross border travel on its buses. Does anyone know for sure?
If it is not valid for the German part of my journey, can you now get german bus tickets from the BVB ticket machines? I last did this some years ago and you could not get tickets from the old style BVB ticket machines nor from the bus driver, resulting in me being thrown off the bus over the border and told to buy a ticket from the German ticket machine and wait for the next bus ..:eek: no wonder I've driven to Grenzach ever since ...
