Ramadan Kareem, all the best of luck with this 2013 challenging Ramadan due to weather and day long. Collecting some info that may help, for Ramadan 2013 for those who practice Ramadan - Ramadan this year started today in some countries (like france), and will start tomorrow in the rest. - Pray times during Ramadan in here, as well if you can click on this link and write the city name - Feast After Ramadan (Eid Al Fetr) is expected to be 8th of August (will be known one day before). - Mosques in Switzerland, for Taraweeh prayers, pleasecontact the nearst center to you and get more info about if they doTaraweeh prayers or not and when. - Suggestions for some food during Sohour (early breakfast before dawn) is amix of yougort and dates, with oatmeal and honey - that helps a bit, you mayalso add some nuts and dried fruits. - Try to have a light Iftar (after sunset meal) as it may not be healthy toeat a heavy meal after 9:00 PM - Just a reminder, if you can try to read Quraan 30 chapters in 30 days, soits just one chapter a day. - Another kindly Reminder, Zakat Al Fetr (The donation for poor people) has to be paid before the end of Ramadan, some says can be just before Eid Prayer. For those who would like to greet their colleagues who practice Ramadan they may say Ramadan Kareem (Like Ramadan is the month of generosity - story is that they get used to invite any pedestrian or traveler for food, and inRamadan days that was not possible so they say Ramadan Kareem) or as well you can say Ramadan Mubarak, means like I wishyou a Ramadan full of blessings. |
