My daughter's (5) passport runs out in a few weeks whilst on holiday abroad - yes very stupid of me. I figure it's too late to renew it so plan just to get a 12mth extension.
Planned to go to British embassy in Bern tomorrow morning to extend it. Just reread the instructions and even more stupid me didn't see that it says you need an appointment...(just booked the day off work as only day I can take!!!)
What do u think the chances are that they can do it without an appointment tmw? (i was planning to be there when they open rather than wait till they open to call them - they never answer anyway)
Any experience of this?
