My daughter just got out of hospital today after 6 weeks in, with Nephritis, which meant we had to cancel our 6 week holiday during the summer. We are both stressed and low, and there is a high chance she may need to admitted again on Friday. The doctor, strongly advised that we must go somewhere now, if we want to get away at all. Just in case it worst case scenario.
She is not recommended to fly at the moment, so we need somewhere within 2-4 hours driving time. Not too expensive and plenty of things for a 7 year old and me to do. Considering it may be raining the next couple of days. Theme parks maybe a bit of a nightmare due to summer queues. Thanks for your help.
