post-doc salary

Hi,

I am offered a contract for 1st year post-doc at EPFL. I know that the salaries are non-negotiable but I also know that if you have previous post-doc experience, it counts (~3000 CHF per annum of experience).

My question is what if you have few years of industrial experience before you started PhD (and after Masters) but in the same field in which you completed PhD. Does this experience have to be a post-doc experience to get a raise in salary?

Any advice would be appreciated.
