VET ASSISTANT: HERZOGENBUCHSEE, BE
My employer is looking for an assistant for the Cow Embryo Transfer Vet. This is a part-time role that involves the employee being extremely flexible over working times as the work schedule is normally between 1-3 weeks in advance.
The role is to assist the vet whilst he performs cow embryo flushes. The vet is based in Herzogenbuchsee BE, and the role will involve joining the vet as he travels throughout Swiss farmland.
Some driving may be required, so a valid Swiss driving licence is a must.
You dont need to have any veterinary experience, just not being scared of cows, flexibility and a good sense of humor is a must. It is ok if your German is not great as the vet speaks excellent English. But anyone wishing to learn Swiss German the job could certainly improve your skills.
I imagine the job would be perfect for a trailing spouse, who has not many time commitments but wishes to earn some pocket money, whilst learning German and seeing the beautiful Swiss countryside.
