We have a problem with our dishwasher (which fills with water but then shuts down after 2 minutes -- in case anyone has any ideas) and after having read the manual from cover to cover, searched forums and tried everything to fix it, we think it's probably time to call a repairman (I suspect that the pump is broken).
It's a Miele that was bought at Fust, and they both have a repair service. The prices are fairly equally exhorbitant, though Fust slightly less so. They also charge by the half hour while Miele charges by the hour, and if the machine is not worth fixing we'd get a voucher for the price of the consultation to go towards a new machine. I'm tempted to go with Fust for this reason but am worried that the technician won't know the machine as well and will less easily diagnose the problem. Has anyone had any experience with either? Or have someone else to recommend?
