Hello everyone!
This is my first post on these forums. I have been reading here off and on for the past year. Here's a small intro of what brought me to this website.
I met my girlfriend last summer as she visited California. She was interested in surfing and had a lot of ambition and dreams. During her 3 month stay she would take the train every weekend to see me, or I'd drive to LA and visit. We got to adventure and do many things in California I never dreamed of visiting.
After she left 3 months went by and I visited her in Switzerland for 1 1/2 months, getting to know her family, and friends. Her and her brother visited 3 months later for two months this summer and just recently headed home to prepare for the university again.
Now on year later, time definitely fly's and I'm very thankful for that, having to deal with the distance and all :msnsad:;)! Were looking to close the distance in a couple years.
I'm currently attending my local college to acquire an A.A. in Water Science so I can work for the city, or water district doing either Water Treatment, Distribution, or Waist Water. I've tried researching city jobs for Switzerland but I honestly can't find any information on it. Here in California, and most the US this is a very good job.
So my question is, does anyone have information on what type of city jobs they have in Switzerland. The type of learning/training needed before applying for such jobs ect. Really just any information on this would be great.
