The Pioneer AVIC-HD3 is a dash-mounted GPS that provides multiple functions to the user. A touchscreen display allows for intuitive menu navigation, but additional buttons along the bottom edge of the display allow customization. The internal 30 GB memory of this Pioneer GPS comes pre-installed with a variety of maps for instant use upon installation. In addition to standard navigation features, the Pioneer AVIC-HD3 can memorize regular travel routes and provide intelligent route planning based on traffic data. The hard drive of this Pioneer GPS can also be used to store a variety of music files for replay with connected speaker systems. The CD/DVD player is furthermore capable of media playback with support for a variety of disc types. By using scrolling map navigation, this dash-mounted GPS can also display several kinds of points of interest to help users find various venues in unfamiliar territory. The scrolling map of this Pioneer GPS also has a voice guidance feature that allows it to provide audible directions to the user to minimize visual distractions while driving.
