Grimselwelt Day trip- reinchbach furicular

Planning to do a day trip with elderly parents and young children. Interested in the Reinchenbach furnicular in Grimselwelt. Has anyone been on this train ride? Would the place for the ride be far from the tourist centre or parking lot? Looking for place where I don't need to hike over far distance and tough terrain with young and old in tow.. Tried talking to the tourist site folks but can't get much info from them :(

Any advice will be appreciated :)
