So I have a buyer for my car. The final price we agreed to is 18,500 (have it listed for 19,500)
The guy checked out the car and he likes it. He just sold his car but didnt get as much as he wanted. So now he is offering to give me an initial amount 12,000 and give me installments of 2000 per month until he pays it off. He said I can keep the grey card ( and keys until he pays it off. He has a garage and says we can store the car there.
Is this safe for me? He seems like a legitimate guy and I dont feel like he is trying to scam me.
I dont really need the full amount right away because I have another car.
What I would like to know, if we make a contract using the form from autoscout and fill in all of the details can this be legally binding?
