I'm so angry with myself...
I was driving back home on the motorway yesterday, and the conditions were pretty bad: wet and cold road, heavy traffic. I was keeping a correctish distance with the car in front if me, but it broke down quickly... I jumped on the break, my my car slid on the wet road and violently bumped into the car in front of me. Less than a second later, the car behind me bumped into me and I was sandwiched between the two cars...
My car got the most damage, especially at the front. Basically, it's dead... Luckily, nobody got injured.
I must say, people were incredibly nice to me. I was sobbing inconsolably, and it was the poor guy whose car I wrecked who was trying to console ME! Even the cops were great: they didn't press charges against me (I could have lost my license for this), filled in all the insurance papers, and even drove me and my daughter back home. All the time with me sobbing and apologizing profusely...
And apparently, because I only have a partial casco and I was responsible for bumping into the car in front of me, my insurance won't pay for the damages done to my car... Which means I don't have a car anymore...
It's gonna be a merry Xmas...:(
