First Timer in Basel

Dear all,

I might be coming to live in Basel and have a couple of questions.

I would be hired as a purchasing manager for a large firm which organizes holidays for people. My tasks would be contracting and negotiating with vendors and checking to see if the product is suitable for our clients.

I have done all the calculators but unfortunately my position is a bit unclear.

My future employer offered me between 5700 and 6200 franks gross. I was wondering wether you think this would be an accaptable amount.

I am 27 years old, have studied hotel management and have 5 years of working experience.
